Student Support Services

The Student Support Services Departments’ (SSSD)  mission is to provide support and assistance to students, parents, community, and school district staff. This teamwork supports each student by acknowledging and helping to eliminate barriers to academic achievement and social emotional learning.

SSSD district professionals provide resources and support those experiencing barriers to success in areas such as: attendance, achievement, behavior, physical health, mental health, and basic needs.

This department contributes to the district’s vision that promotes a passion for student learning; supports teachers, parents, and community; and produces engaged and lifelong learners.

The goals of Student Support Services are to:

  • Support ALL students

  • Support schools in assisting with student attendance;

  • Support schools in assisting with maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment on ALL campuses;

  • Support families by assisting with providing links to community agencies;

  • Work as a collaborative unit to help each student reach their fullest potential and graduate.
