Mrs. Phyllis Houser
Phyllis Moore Houser grew up in Selma and graduated from Selma High School in 1989. After high school, Phyllis attended Wallace Community College for a brief period, and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia. After only being in Georgia for a short time, Phyllis returned to Selma and met the man who would soon change her life forever. In 1993, Phyllis married Rodney Houser. To this union, two children were born. Phyllis was was a stay-home mom and enjoyed raising her children.
In 1998, Phyllis began her career with law enforcement, where she served as an Emergency 9-1-1 Operator for the City of Selma. In effort to advance her career, Phyllis joined the Department of Public Safety in 2002 (now Alabama Law Enforcement Agency) where she currently serves as Police Communications Officer.
Phyllis is a member of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church. She has served on the Trustee Board, Women's Missionary Society, and Coordinator with the Youth Department.
Phyllis enjoys traveling, meeting new people, eating good foods and spending time with family and friends.
