phot of tamecia smith Greetings! I am Justin Tyree Kelly, a native of Birmingham, Alabama. I was born June 12, 1987 at UAB Children’s Hospital. I have two loving parents Willie and Patricia Kelly whom raised me to be the man that I am today. I have two older siblings Rodriguez and Kamonte Kelly of Birmingham, Al. Attending Riley Elementary School in Birmingham, Al, I was an honor student, receiving academic achievement awards. Attending a community public school helped me grow academically and taught me the value of possessing high standards as a person. I attended Jones Valley Middle School; being involved in basketball, football, and Boy Scout. I attended Wenonah High School in Birmingham, Al graduating with honors. While there I participated in extra curriculum activities such as football, basketball, and baseball. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Alabama State University in Montgomery Alabama, were I received my bachelor’s and master’s degree in physical education. I currently work at Edgewood Elementary School in Selma Al, were I serve as the physical education teacher, men in motion lead sponsor, and chairman of the positive behavioral intervention support team. When I am not teaching and mentoring; I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with family. Justin is known for his friendliness, willingness and eagerness to help those he love. These same qualities are displayed in his compassion for teaching students. Overall, he’s a dedicated and hardworking educator who believes that all children can learn.
